Celine Keidel

European Commission, DG Agriculture and Rural Development, Brussels

A Cornell Law School and Université Paris I Panthéon-Sorbonne graduate, Ms Keidel practised as a lawyer for three years in a law firm in New York before returning to Europe in 2009. Since joining the European Commission, she has worked in a variety of fields, first in the direction overseeing competition, then in the human resources division, and most recently in DG Agriculture and Rural Development. She is head of sector for fruit and vegetables in the unit dealing with market monitoring and sectorial measures for wine, spirits and horticultural products.
